Due to some past confusion regarding websites and enterprises on the internet, Rhodesians Worldwide® magazine has issued the following statement:
“We at Rhodesians Worldwide® magazine are in no way connected to or associated with any other website or enterprise on the internet using the name “Rhodesians Worldwide” with the exception of the various Rhodesians Worldwide associations listed within the Rhodesians Worldwide magazine. We wish it to be known we have not given any other individuals or enterprises permission to use our trademarked name of Rhodesians Worldwide®. The name Rhodesians Worldwide® has been used continually by the magazine and its associated entities since 1985, when it was first published in Australia. The Rhodesians Worldwide® magazine and the merchandise we produce are not linked to any other individuals or enterprises. This magazine has been published quarterly for the past 37 years and has been distributed worldwide through the regular postal channels since its inception. Our URLs are www.rhodesiansworldwide.com, www.rhodesians-worldwide.com, www.rhodesiansworldwide.net, www.rhodesia.org, and www.rhodesiansworldwide.org and they all point to our website called “Rhodesians Worldwide”. On Facebook we operate the group called Rhodesians-Worldwide and the Facebook page called Rhodesians Worldwide magazine. There is another Facebook group using the title Rhodesians Worldwide (without the dash) and we have no access to this group nor is the magazine linked to any of their activities or enterprises advertised therein. We do not take illegal usage of our trademarked name lightly and will exercise our legal rights in cases where our right to publish the magazine under its historic name is threatened.”
The views expressed within the print and digital copies of the Rhodesians Worldwide® magazines do not necessarily represent the personal views of the Editor or anyone associated with the magazine. Stories within the magazine remain the intellectual property of the authors of each article.
Recently a fantasy website of slick design has appeared using the title of Government of Rhodesia. This magazine has no links to this fake website that uses a variety of false and racist information to try to trick people into believing that it is a legitimate organization. Please do your due diligence before being taken in by this site. No other Rhodesian organization has ever heard of this entity and it appears to have nefarious and racist objectives which bring dishonour to Rhodesians of all races.
