Ian Smith-Rhodesian

Visit with Ian Douglas Smith, the last Prime Minister of Rhodesia in this three segment videographic story. In Ian Smith-Rhodesian you will be face to face with a calm and relaxed Ian Smith one year after the declaration of Independence as he shares his hopes for the future of Rhodesia. In his 1978 address to the nation he is a more worn man as he announces impending majority rule as imposed by the Kissinger plan. In “A New Initiative” Ian Smith, clearly at the end of his tether, lays out the Internal Settlement with the black leaders; Bishop Muzorewa, Ndabanigi Sithole and Senator Chief Chirau. This announcement lead to the short existence of Zimbabwe-Rhodesia. Ian Smith-Rhodesian is a copyrighted segment that we have been authorised to reproduce as opposed to the other items which are public domain after so many years since their production. Any unauthorised use, such as copying, of Ian Smith-Rhodesian is not allowed unless authorised by the producer of this show and his surviving family members. Cost includes shipping to anywhere in the world. We can make this in DVD or Video format and in PAL or NTSC depending on your location.
